Tom Ownby (VP – Customer Care)

tom-head-2016Tom began his business career as a banker in Florida where he managed an office responsible for operations, marketing, lending and overall services.  As electronic banking emerged, he moved to California working for an aggressive banking organization that pioneered the use of banking ATMs, national banking networks, home banking and bill paying services. He managed various product lines, operational services and project management activities.

With that knowledge and experience, Tom moved back to Florida to became an executive officer in a national and international Banking Software company. His experience in software increased over the years to include Government software solutions that were sold and supported on a national and international basis.  He served as the Senior Executive Manager for those efforts.  With the popularity of the Internet increasing rapidly, he became associated with a software development group that focused its efforts on Internet based solutions.

Tom’s management background includes a foundation in business finance and management, project management, operations, marketing, sales and technology.  He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University and the Graduate School of Bank Marketing at Louisiana State University.
